INDIANAPOLIS — Tinker Coffee announced both a new product line and a thoughtful way guests can help healthcare workers in Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis-based coffee roaster provides for many of the city's most-visited cafes, such as Provider or Coat Check. Although those establishments may have temporarily closed their doors, Tinker Coffee has not.
The roasters have not only been working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to provide its fan base with their products but have launched a new brew line that is bottled and ready-to-drink.
Tinker's new beverages include bottled versions of the company's cold brew and signature spiced latte. Both options are available in 12 oz. and 64 oz. bottles.
To make it easier for folks to help Indy's healthcare workers, Tinker also is giving guests the option to donate bottles of their cold brew to Indy's nurses, doctors and other hospital employees working to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
"The company hopes the greater community will continue to use these beverages as an opportunity to support healthcare workers, raise morale, and show that we are all in this together," Tinker Coffee's release read.
Every time guests purchase Tinker's products online, or at their roastery on the near west side, they have the option to pay for 64 oz. bottles or a four-pack of 12 oz. bottles to be donated. When bottles are bought for donation, the company distributes them that week to hospital staffs across Indianapolis.
The company has already donated over 300 bottles to essential health care workers in Indy.
The bottled cold brew and spiced latte bottles are available for purchase on the Tinker Coffee website, or in-person at their roastery, 1125 W. 16th Street.
