Ray Steele has spent more than 25 years in journalism, and he has been with WRTV since 2016.
A native of Georgia, Ray has been a Hoosier for more than a decade now. He loves working to feature the thriving arts and music scene in Central Indiana, with special love for jazz, marching band, hip hop and – the greatest of the performance arts – professional wrestling. Ray, his wife and family now call Hancock County home. He attended Jacksonville State University in Alabama, but he has been an Alabama Crimson Tide fan since New Year’s Day 1979 – Bama’s 14-7 victory over Penn State in the Sugar Bowl that secured a National Championship.
