COLUMBUS -- For Cummins, the Columbus-based Indiana company best known for its big diesel engines, it's time to get back to work.
A Cummins spokesperson confirmed to RTV6 Tuesday that the company will reopen three plants next week, after closing them April 6 amid COVID-19 concerns and a decline in business.
Workers will return to the Columbus Engine Plant, the Columbus Fuel Systems Plant, and the Seymour Engine Plant.
Still to be decided is when to resume operations at the Cummins plant south of Columbus in Walesboro.
