MILWAUKEE — Butler saved its best play for late in the game, but it wasn't enough in a 70-67 loss to Marquette Tuesday in Milwaukee.

The Bulldogs rallied from 18 points down with 12 minutes to play to a three point deficit with 15 seconds left. But a three point attempt by Jair Bolden just missed at the buzzer.

Bo Hodges, playing his second game for Butler, came close to a triple double, with 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Chuck led the team with 16 points.

Marquette shot 61% for the game and had a 33-24 rebounding advantage.

The Bulldogs have lost three straight games and fall to 5-10 overall and 4-8 in the Big East. Marquette is 9-9 overall and 5-7 in the conference.
