WESTFIELD, Ind. – The Indianapolis Colts will have their training camps in Westfield, Indiana for at least the next decade.
City officials announced Wednesday morning that the team's training camp will take place at Grand Park Sports Campus beginning in 2018.
The 2018 training camp will bring back Colts City, a fan zone with events and attractions for children.
“Holding training camp at Grand Park will give our team a chance to practice at a top notch facility in addition to giving us the chance to connect with our fans as we prepare for the season,” said Colts General Manager Chris Ballard. “The venue is located in ideal proximity to our fan base and we feel this is an advantageous move for the Indianapolis Colts.”
The Colts spent the 2017 camp at their center on W. 56th Street. Before that, they were at Anderson University since 2010. Before Anderson, the Colts prepared for the season at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana from 1999-2009.
