INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday four people within the organization tested negative for COVID-19 after previously testing positive.

The organization released a statement after 11:30 a.m. saying the team will open its practice facility at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on West 56th Street.

The announcement came about five hours after the Colts announced "several" members of the organization tested positive for the coronavirus.

"Earlier this morning, we were informed that four individuals within the organization tested positive for COVID-19," a statement from the Colts said. "The four positive samples were re-tested and have been confirmed negative. After consultation with the NFL and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Allen Sills, the team will open the practice facility this afternoon under the league’s intensive protocol and will continue preparation for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati."

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted, "All is well. Details shortly. COLTS-BENGALS, 1PM SUNDAY!"

Several NFL teams have dealt with COVID-19 cases this season.

The Tennessee Titans rescheduled two games due to an outbreak affecting 23 members of the organization. The New England Patriots also rescheduled a Week 5 game against Denver after four players, including quarterback Cam Newton and 2019 Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore, tested positive.

The Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons have also closed their facilities following positive tests.
