INDIANAPOLIS — It's high school football championship time at Lucas Oil Stadium. Here are the final scores from games played Friday:
Final: Center Grove 38, Westfield 14: In the 6A Championship game, Center Grove completed an unbeaten season (14-0) by rolling to a 38-14 win over Westfield Friday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Trojans Carson Steele rushed for 138 yards. It was Center Grove's third state football title.
FINAL: Roncalli 49, Hobart 7: In the 4A game, Indianapolis Roncalli dominated on both sides of the ball to win its 10th state title.
Quarterback Aidan Leffler threw five touchdown passes and Baron Huebler rushed for 158 yards as Roncalli finishes its season 13-1. Kyle Lockard caught three of Leffler's scoring passes.
FINAL: Western Boone 36, Ft. Wayne Luers 35. Western Boone came from behind over the final minutes of the game to win a third straight IHSAA 2A high school football championship over Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The winning score came with seven seconds to go on a 38-yard field goal by Josiah Smith. Luers was up by nine when the Stars from Thorntown began their comeback with a touchdown with two minutes remaining, followed by the field goal.
Robby Taylor had a monster game for the Stars, rushing for 210 yards.
Saturday: A, 3A and 5A games are played Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Class A, 11 a.m: Covenant Christian (14-0) against South Adams (13-0)
Class 3A, 3 p.m: Bishop Chatard (12-1) against Danville (11-0)
Class 5A, 7 p.m: Zionsville (7-5) against Indianapolis Cathedral (12-1)
