INDIANAPOLIS -- Fan favorite Jim Cornelison will return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next year to perform for the Indy 500.

The track announced Thursday that Cornelison would be singing “Back Home Again in Indiana” for the third year in a row before the start of the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500.

Cornelison will also perform at the 100 days out party on Friday, February 15.

Cornelison is known to sports fans everywhere as the powerful voice behind “The Star Spangled Banner” at Chicago Blackhawks’ home games.
