CARMEL — "This is MY May," Robert Wickens said in his Instagram post on Thursday night.

Eight months after a crash on the track that nearly ended his life, IndyCar driver Robert Wickens is chronicling his recovery through a series of videos on social media.

This latest one posted shows Wickens working on his ovals.

Okay... it's in a wheelchair going around the kitchen — but it's a big step.

Wickens is finally back home in his house after being away for nearly nine months.

He says he is ready to help Arrow Schmidt Peterson racing at the IndyCar Grand Prix on Saturday.
