INDIANAPOLIS — The Pacers front office had a late night Wednesday. The long wait to make their one and only draft pick is bringing a Blue Devil to the Blue and Gold.
The Pacers selected Cassius Stanley with the 54th overall pick.
The 6-foot 6-inch guard played just a single college season at Duke University. He averaged 12 points per game and was selected to the ACC All-Freshman team.
Originally from Los Angeles, Stanley will soon be calling the Circle City home.
The new NBA season will begin on December 22. The Pacers will learn part of their schedule after Thanksgiving.
