INDIANAPOLIS — Three Southport High School students were arrested Friday and face expulsion following an attack on a fellow student in a school bathroom.

The disturbing incident was caught on video. A male student can be seen cornered in the bathroom with other students repeatedly punching and hitting him with a belt. As this went on, others in the bathroom were using their cell phones to capture the incident on video.

According to Keesha Hughes, the Perry Township School Public Information Officer, administrators became aware of the incident and the video and called in Perry Township School Police to investigate.

"The three students who carried out the attack have been arrested and removed from the property," she said. "The expulsion process has been put in place. Two other students who witnessed and recorded the attack will be disciplined, as well."
