Severe weather moves into Central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS — Several counties are under severe weather warnings as storms move into Central Indiana.

The latest updates will be posted below:

7:49 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Delaware, Henry, Madison and Randolph counties until 8:15 p.m.

7:35 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Rush County until 8 p.m.

7:25 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Hancock, Henry, Madison, Rush and Shelby counties until 8:15 p.m.

6:56 p.m.: Hancock, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Delaware, Madison and Shelby counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:45 p.m.

6:50 p.m.: Blackford, Jay, and Grant counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:15 p.m.

6:36 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby counties until 7 p.m.

6:06 p.m.: Fans at Indianapolis Motor Speedway are being urged to seek shelter as the storms move into the area.

6:00 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Boone, Hendricks, Montgomery, and Putnam counties until 6:45 p.m.

5:55 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Clinton, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, and Tipton counties until 6:45 p.m.

5:50 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Clay, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo, and Warren counties until 10 p.m.

5:43 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Clay, Owen, Parke, Putnam and Vigo counties until 6:15 p.m.
