INDIANA — Tornado-warned storms are making their way across central Indiana and early reports of damage are coming into the WRTV newsroom.

Officials in Delaware County are investigating the possibility of a tornado touchdown between Eaton and Albany.
That's according to Delaware County EMA Executive Director John Coutinho and Delaware County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Jeff Stanley.
"As far as I was informed we had rotation reported above Eaton from their police Dept but I have not heard of any confirmed touchdown. We had spotters out following the storm through the north end of the county," Coutinho told WRTV in an email.
Stanley and Coutinho both said they had not been notified of storm damages.

Despite radar indications of strong storms, there have not been reports of extensive storm-related damages in Randolph County.
Randolph County EMA spokesman Charles Shaneyfelt said he had only been notified of minor damages, including a few downed tree limbs.
"We don't have any damages that I've been told of," he said.

The Tornado Watch expires for Bartholomew, Decatur, Hancock, Jackson, Jennings, Madison and Shelby counties.

The Tornado Watch expires for Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Lawrence, Marion, Monroe and Morgan counties.

The Tornado Watch expires for Clay, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, Owen, Putnam and Sullivan counties.

The Tornado Watch expires for Parke, Montgomery, Vermillion and Vigo counties.

The Rush County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Arlington Elementary School received damage from the tornado-warned storm earlier. They also confirm there have been no injuries at this time.

Damage to the Posey Township Fire Department in Rush County is visible. First responders are on the scene to access the damage to the building's roof and more.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Jennings County until 5:30 p.m.; Expired

Emergency Management Agency Director for Rush Count, Chuck Kemker, confirmed he received reports of a confirmed touchdown in the county, but is unaware of the extent of damage. The last report he received was in the area of Henderson Road and 300 North.
